The last time I gave roses was when I was planning for my boyfriend's long awaited visit. He was coming to stay with me for a couple of days and I thought it would be nice to decorate the kitchen with a bouquet of mixed pink, yellow and white roses to spruse the place up a bit and make him feel welcome! ;)

This past valentines days I gave out 13 roses to the two most important women in my life. A dozen to my mom, ...and one to my girlfriend! For a couple of years in highschool I remember spending like $70.00 for a dozen roses, to girlfriends I have no contact with anymore. If you shop around, you can find roses for a fraction of that price!

Last time i received roses was for Valentines day from my husband. he gave them to me because he is expressing love and care for, as what he says!!! He really does !!
ReplyDeleteLast time i received a rose was a regular day in summer for any especial reason from my boyfriend!! He said that he just feel like to give me that rose because there is not a especial day to express someone love!!

The last time I received roses was for my birthday in November 2005. It was my first birthday in New York, and my friends in California all chipped in and sent them to me. They were red, long-stemmed, and arrived via UPS in a gold, slender box. I'd never received flowers sent via UPS, so I was totally surprised when I opened the lid and saw all the beautiful roses!
ReplyDeleteThe last time I received roses was a few weeks ago from my boyfriend. He surprised me with two roses, because we had started dating two months ago. It was definitely a nice surprise.

The last time I received roses was for my birthday in february right after Valentine,s day. My husband knew that I love flowers, in a week he gave me 2 1/2 dozen of red roses. For the month of February, I was collecting just flowers because my friends who I sing with, from my church surprised me with roses in a restaurant where they took me for dinner.

It is very unfortunate that i have not received or given roses to anyone but i hope to do that someday. I don`t believe in the whole euphoria about roses but i would find out when the day comes.

When I was in a relationship with this girl several months ago, I gave her a rose because she felt sad that she didn't see me when we were supposed to. I told her there would be flowers delivered to her house by some random guy from a flower shop around 7 P.M. or so, and I drove to her house with a rose. She really enjoyed it.

I just gave two dozen pink roses to my mother on monday night as a get well, make her smile, brighten up the room. My mom was in the hospital this past week so I thought that flowers and balloons would make her feel better.

I have never recieved roses and I really would not be very excited if I did. I have given roses to plenty of females in the past. I cant remember the last time I did so though. I have a girlfriend and have been with her for almost four months. However, we broke up a week before valentines day so I got off the buying roses duty. Fortunately we got back together a few days later. So basically I got off easy!! hahaha -Robert Letizia
ReplyDeleteI was once given a rose on valentines day two years ago by my best friend Ethan. Though I felt special for at least a week and though maybe he liked me, he told me soon after that he was giving me roses because he knew no one else would. I guess that's nice...?

the last time I received roses was for my birthday from my boyfriend. But the funny thing about it all is, I really don't care for flowers. I think they are a waste of money and they don't last, but I still appreciated them very much =)
