  1. I will say whenever you get away with what other people could not do or achieve under the same conditions, then i will say you are lucky. That is when whatever seems impossible becomes a possibilty for you, then you are absolutely lucky.

  3. Luck is something that cannot be controlled, as it happens by chance. Some people seem to be luckier than others, in their careers, their relationships, or just in life in general. Luck can also go both ways. There is certainly such a thing as bad luck, as I myself have experienced on numerous occasions. The problem with luck is its randomness; there is no way to predict whether one will have good or bad luck.

  4. The word itself is defined as "happening fortunately". The best I can see what others perceive to be lucky is gaining something, be it an item, job or opportunity that isn't simple in attaining. I don't believe in luck though. I feel that if you open yourself positively to the universe, good things happen, that's not luck, that's bringing good things to you.

  5. To be Lucky means to have good fortune influenced by the understanding of fate in correlation with your chances of attaining a bit of good luck. Being lucky can also be circumstantial in that some of us may feel lucky or think others are lucky, because we are greatly satisfied with these outcomes. A lot of people don't believe in luck, because they believe it has to do with the idea that everything is up to fate and they have no control in the matter. On the other hand it can be made into a positive Acknowledgment of simply feeling lucky. We can learn to appreciate the pleasant occurances that make us feel lucky and not necessarily take them so literally to mean that life is beyond our control.

  6. Being lucky to me is having food, shelter, a chance at a good life with a good job and person that you love and that loves you back next to you. Seems very simple, but even today many people are missing at least one of those things. Things like wining money is just chance.

  7. i don't really believe in luck!! i think that all the good and bad things that can happen to us is because we attract positive and negative things. Not only depends in our mood and our way to live the life, it also depends and how we treat the others. i believe that all good things we made, come back to us in different ways...

  8. I believe the meaning of being lucky is having your family, health, and love in your life. Everything else is luxury and un-necessary needs. In addition, probably the only luck I can actually consider being known as "luck", is winning the lotto. It doesnt take brains nor anything physical to win the lotto, all you need are the right numbers...

  9. luck can either be good or bad. It can be a random thing that happens to you. For example finding 50 dollars in a grocery store is good luck. Falling down in front of a whole parking lot full of people is bad luck.

  12. When something good happens to you that you did not expect and makes you happy. I would say luck is like a fingerprint. It differs from each person. Someone may think that he (she) is not lucky, but he (she) may forget that life is one of the best luck he (she) can have.

  13. I believe luck is (like what plenty of others have said) is when something "good" happens to a somebody/thing. Although it appears to be a common occurrence among folks, I do not believe in it since within the belief that everything happens for a reason, it wouldn't make sense for luck to fit into place. I suppose it can also be viewed as something that happens while being unexpected, but later in life, can be understood why it happened.

  14. My idea of luck goes hand and hand with appreciation. Right now, I have a pretty mediocre lifestyle financially, love life, family, friends, health ...ect. And I consider myself a VERY VERY lucky person. Waking up in the morning is luck, most people don't understand that.
